Located in one of the more lush and remote locations of Maui, with its gently sloping land, daily doses of sunshine and misty rains, our farm in Hāna naturally produces a pure, clean, healthy environment from which we grow our products and raise our animal farm family.
We farm a wide variety of exotic fruits, citrus, avocados, aromatics, tropical flowers, macadamia nuts, cacao and more; transforming what we grow into products for the farm shop and website. Our love for farming and distilling is equal to our love for raising animals.
Our animal family includes Nigerian Dwarf and Boer goats, who love to snuggle and grace our mornings with their playful ways as well as a “goat symphony” that welcomes you to their pen. Next to the goat pen, is our Kunekune pig pair Hapa Boy and Honey Girl. They have become quite the entertainers here on the farm and warm our hearts with their sweet grunts, love for belly rubs and hilarious ways. Honey Girl has given birth to a few litters already with another on the way!
Across from the goat/pig pen is our flock of free range laying hens. We currently have a variety of Rhode Island Red, Cinnamon Queen, Rhode Island White, Barred Rock, Black Ameraucana, Lavender Ameraucana, Olive Egger, Flowery Hen and Cream Legbar hens and a few roosters. We are provided with fresh rainbow eggs daily from the flock that supplies our home and Farm Shop.
A mature orchard of both Aztec and Hershey’s Cacao is the center point between all the animal pens which offers shade, grubbing for the free range poultry and a magical location to take in all the sights and sounds. On the back side of our cacao orchard is our duck house, home to our Muscovy duck family. They also provide us with big, beautiful eggs and are a great addition to our farm’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) by eating slugs, beetles and mosquitos. We are continually adding to our farm family and will always have someone new for you to meet for your visits.
